Beforest- Poomaale -Coorg

 A Monsoon retreat in the middle of a wilderness rainforest . It was a surreal experience.  Waking up to the songs of the whistling thrush bird to sipping morning coffee in a coffee estate overlooking the forest was one of its kind .



The walks around the estate was so soul satisfying. Each one unique in its own way.  I was just baffled that nature had so much to offer.  

 
Water gushing on our face from the waterfalls to crossing the high current river stream and hiking the ridge trail of grasslands were some of the highlights from our trials .











 Doing these adventurous trials was never my thing but the team at beforest made sure I did it comfortably.  Can't thank them enough . I dint have to bother about kids as they were safe and were treated with such warmth from the beforest and blyton team .

 

The activities were well curated . Each one with a  purpose . The biodiversity of this place was totally worth watching .


Special mention about the food , the chef ensured we tasted different dishes from the kodagu cuisine and most of the vegetables were sourced from the estate itself . 

Good food , good views and good air what else I can ask for . Next time minus the adventure ..uff !!

Vizag Trip

 Day 1: We went to Annavaram temple from hyderabad . We did Satyanarayana vratham and then had annaprasadam in the temple premises . Later , headed to vizag.  Had dinner at home and slept off . Day 2 : After having  breakfast we headed to Rishikonda Beach.  The weather was pleasant and the beach water was clean . We enjoyed on the beach . Dubai Trip

  It was more of  a get-together of friends with family . We did not plan the itenary . Just left it with the hosts :P . Day 1: kids enjoyed the  flight journey.  Watched their favorite cartoon shows . We visited Burj Al Arab that evening . It is a landmark building of Dubai built on an island . The view from top of the building was worth the visit. The beach alongside was beautiful.    Day 2 : We visited the famous Sheik Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi,the capital of UAE. It is the largest mosque in the country. The mosque was an architectural marvel. Walked around looking at its beauty . Headed back to Dubai . It was late by the time we reached . Kids were asleep . So we planned to go the global village which was open till midnight . It had stalls from different countries . We managed to step into few . They were some nice souvenirs and authentic food stalls .
