Dubai Trip

 It was more of  a get-together of friends with family . We did not plan the itenary . Just left it with the hosts :P .

Day 1: kids enjoyed the  flight journey.  Watched their favorite cartoon shows . We visited Burj Al Arab that evening . It is a landmark building of Dubai built on an island . The view from top of the building was worth the visit. The beach alongside was beautiful. 

 

Day 2 :
We visited the famous Sheik Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi,the capital of UAE. It is the largest mosque in the country. The mosque was an architectural marvel. Walked around looking at its beauty .

Headed back to Dubai . It was late by the time we reached . Kids were asleep . So we planned to go the global village which was open till midnight . It had stalls from different countries . We managed to step into few . They were some nice souvenirs and authentic food stalls . I really liked the whole vibe of the place . Must visit :P

Day3: 

Headed to the famous Dubai mall.
We went to the aquarium.  Kids enjoyed watching the different aquatic animals and got to see penguins too . It was not worth the hype . But our pictures which they sold as souvenirs made up for it . 

After a quick lunch , we started off to Dubai Safari . I had no idea what the whole experience would be like .We were running late but we just managed to reach before sunset .The ride in the desert was the highlight of our trip .  Kudos to the driver , I never experienced such a thrilling n adventurous ride. Thoroughly enjoyed it . Kids loved it . Later in the evening, we enjoyed the dinner watching performances by locals . Ended the day with camel ride . 

Day 4:

Woke up early as we dint want to miss the beach experience here . It was a pleasant day . Kids enjoyed  in water and sand .The water was clean and blue .

After coming back , had a hearty home cooked meal. 

We had yacht ride planned for the evening .

Dint have any idea what the ride would be like . The best part of the trip was that ,we dint have to use our brains for planning , open for surprises and new experiences. Unlike other boat rides which starts off with excitement and then kinda gets boring , this one was not . Initially we took few snaps and then did some fishing. Later, I thoroughly enjoyed just relaxing and chatting on top of the yacht, passing by the beautifully lit high rise building .

Day 5:

We had Bhurj Khalifa planned for the evening.  All of us were tired . But I dint want to miss the Dubai gold shopping experience.  So only me n husband went to check out gold souk . I was amazed to see so much gold around .

I was very tired after returning home . Wanted to skip the evening plan but our friends insisted otherwise. And also it was my birthday. Glad I went after resting for a while . The lit Bhurj Khalifa and the fountain show reminded me of Vegas.  We had a nice dinner by the world's tallest building.  The whole vibe of the place must be experienced. 

Day6:

This was the last day of our vacation . Though our bodies were tired we were ready for a early morning visit to the lake as suggested by Captain . Kids were overjoyed seeing flamingos and fishes in the fresh water .It was a soul satisfying experience sitting by the lake and enjoying its serenic beauty.

We had flight in the night . Came back home refreshed and packed bags . They say goodbyes are tough .. we all felt it .. some beautiful memories made . 

On the way to airport , we stopped by the wall of fame . 

In conclusion, if you ask me would you do the trip again with the same bunch . My answer would be undoubtedly yes .This says it all 😀
